Cure Our Ovarian Cancer is pleased to announce that applications are open for the 2022 annual grant round. This year we have provided $60,000 in funding for grants to be administered by Graci.
We welcome applications from researchers who:
- reside in New Zealand,
- are affiliated with a research organisation or healthcare provider,
- are interested in gynaecological cancer research.
In 2022 there are three grants available:
- Ovarian cancer research Grant – $20,000.00 – in conjunction with COOC – Grant Ref: COOC/GRACI2202
- Ovarian cancer research Grant – $20,000.00 – in conjunction with COOC – Grant Ref: COOC/GRACI2203
- Low -grade serous ovarian cancer research Grant – $20,000.00 – in conjunction with COOC – Grant Ref: COOC/GRACI2204
Additionally, there is a gynaecological cancer research grant funded by Graci – $30,000.00 Grant Ref: GRACI2201.

OCFNZ started as Cure Our Ovarian Cancer in 2018, with a focus on low-grade serous ovarian cancer. In 2020, we expanded our focus to include all ovarian cancer and, in 2024, we changed our name to the Ovarian Cancer Foundation New Zealand.
