We’re delighted to present our Annual Report, covering the period 1 April 2023 to 31 March 2024. It’s been incredible to reflect on the past year and all of the progress we have made together.
This report highlights some remarkable achievements. We’ve committed to a long-term growth strategy, including changing our name to the Ovarian Cancer Foundation New Zealand | Te Kaikōkiri Mate Pukupuku Kākano-ā-Kopu ki Aotearoa. We’ve also invested more into ovarian cancer research than ever before and implemented the first phase of the expansion of our support programme.
We couldn’t have achieved any of this without the ongoing generosity of our incredibly supportive community. As we do not receive any government funding, everything we have achieved so far is truly thanks to you!
Our team and Trustees extend heartfelt thanks to everyone who made this extraordinary year possible. From everyone who has fundraised or donated, to the women who have shared their stories and joined us in advocating for change.
We would also like to share an extra special thank you to Leondra. Her powerful image is the cover of this year’s report, and she kindly shares her story to educate others and advocate for change.
As we look ahead, this report serves as both a celebration of what we’ve achieved together and a reminder of the work still to be done. We are more committed than ever to our mission to improve ovarian cancer care today, while funding transformational research to find tomorrow’s cure.
